Public Service Announcement & Poster Contest

How Can You Help the DuPage River?

The Lower DuPage River Watershed Coalition is holding its first annual Public Service Announcement (PSA) & Poster Contest. We need your help to get the word out about how to keep the watershed clean and healthy for all to enjoy.

The contest is open to any student (K-College) attending a school in a community in the Lower DuPage River Watershed. The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2016 - this gives lots of time to take pictures or video while things are still green or to wait for our first snow. See the list of key messages that we would like to share with people.  Be creative - all artwork will be utilized by communities and organizations in our watershed to raise awarness about the great resource we have flowing through our communities.

Winners will be chosen by our Education & Outreach Committee with assistance from each community in the watershed. Prizes will be awarded at the elementary, JR High, and High School level in each community and watershed wide at the college level. Top prize at each level is a Kindle Fire HD.
